We put up our Christmas tree yesterday. The kids were/are beside themselves with excitement... not just the kids. We sang carols, drank hot chocolate, and watched Shrek the Christmas movie. It was such a fun night. I didn't take any pictures. I wish I would of but I was a little preoccupied untying all the beaded garland.
As I sauntered down the hall this morning, wishing for one more hour of sleep, I got to say that seeing that tree made me smile just a little bit (not enough to damper the want of one more hour BUT a smile is a start).

you put up your tree early.....good idea. If I had my way it would be up in november but I married Scrooge McDuck and I compromised for dec 1. I love christmas. don't we all want another hour?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I want my tree up. Man Life is always so happy at Christmas. I LOVE KUNG....I MEAN CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that you set up your tree. I loved that about being little. My mom would set up Christmas at our house within the first few days of November. I miss it. Now that I live in the States it's just not the same having to wait until after Thanksgiving here. The holiday season just doesn't last as long. Some day I will convince my hubby to let me set up early. And I will be happy. (not that I'm unhappy, I would just be more)
Oh, I noticed you have a lot of readers from Kelowna (I don't think I spelled that right). Is that where you are from? My hubby served there. NOt that I know how big it is. Just wondering.
